5 Great Travel Planning Platforms

I have been traveling for 7 years both as a solo traveler and with my family. I have used so many travel planning platforms to try to make the planning process easier. I am going to share my favorite travel planning platforms that I have used ranging from desktop websites to mobile apps.

Steller

Steller is a social platform that allows you to search destinations for different types of recommendations. It allows you to compile your favorite recommendations into an organized list. Steller is video based, so it allows you to post different moments to help other travelers. Creating an account is easy and free. You can even follow your favorite travelers! Steller can be used both on a desktop and mobile app. (pssst.. You can follow me @emilytravelsalot)

Deets.com

Deets.com will save you so much time when it comes to planning your travel. You’re able to create a trip utilizing AI and it’ll plan out your itinerary for you. You can also plan the trip yourself using their suggestions. You can also create a guide to easily share your travel suggestions with your friends and family! You can make bookings directly from the site which will save you so much time. I used the deets AI planner to help plan my last-minute trip to Shenandoah Valley and it saved me so much time!

Trip.com

If you’re looking for a travel planning platform that will save you time, Trip.com is a great option. Trip.com is a one stop shop for booking your travel. You can easily book flights, hotels, rental cars all in one place. I’ve enjoyed using this platform to search for better prices on flights and rental cars. There is both a desktop and mobile app version available.

Get Your Guide

Get Your Guide is a great platform to use if you’re someone who values great experiences. I was able to find unique experiences for my trip to Italy back in March, including skip-the-line tickets to the Uffizi. I also enjoy using Get Your Guide to find activities for family vacations too!

Travel Portals

Sometimes, I am trying to earn more points towards free flights, so I’ll use the travel portal associated with that airline (it’s usually American Airlines or United). They sometimes have great prices for rental cars or hotels and earning extra airline points is always a great perk!

I could probably talk all day about different sites and apps to use to help plan travel, but these are the platforms that I use to make travel planning easier and I know they’ll make planning travel easier for you while saving you time.
